Smart Community, 'Machines' Encounter Health

On May 11, 2025, during Mother's Day, we had the privilege of participating in the 'Smart Community, 'Machines' Encounter Health' event organized by the Sham Shui Po branch of the Hong Kong Association for Democracy and People's Livelihood.

During the event, our team provided macular degeneration screening services, focusing on assessing the risk of macular degeneration. Participants learned about the causes, symptoms, and preventive measures related to macular degeneration during the screening process. This knowledge is particularly important for the elderly, helping them to detect potential issues early and effectively reduce the risk of vision impairment.

In addition to eye screenings, the organizers also offered smart health check services, giving seniors the opportunity to interact with AI robots. This not only increased their interest in health checks but also allowed them to experience the convenience brought by technology.
